Almost the same layout but the caravan is 2 feet longer and $US3262 cheaper The Coachman 5th is 2 feet shorter again at 25 feet. It will at this stage be a matter of looking at the three or four that are made in this length and then deciding which suits best.  It appears that you have to go to a 26ft caravan to get a single slide out..

The fifth wheel is much more forgiving to road and towing deficiencies than a Caravan. If you are interested in safety, stay with the fifth wheel.  Caravans are okay, but the accident rate is close to 10 to 1 when compared to fifth wheels.

It would appear from the re I have done on the internet that the Fifth Wheels make more sense when compared to a Caravan as you appear to get more in the same total length and the tow vehicle would have to be about the same size for both. the Double Slide on either does give a lot of extra room and the space that one needs for full-timing for the week of wet weather that must come along....
