does Paisley Colour extend to members? Something of

experience. The Thursday evening programme, in the

or images by a guest speaker. We actually do make
images. We have 10 networked PC's at our disposal
and we use them to make images and improve on our

Liverpool Photographic Society
was
formed in 1954 from a section of the Wavertree Community
Association which met at Cadby Hall. SLPS then moved
to a local Baptist Hall. Finances were meagre at the
start but the society soon attracted a growing membership.

Spectrum
Camera Club
was
founded in1957 and its aim was to promote colour slide
photography. Club members have had many successes
over the years and a number of its present members
hold prestigious RPS distinctions with ARPS and FRPS
awards. For 18 years, Spectrum held an International
Exhibition which, in its time was the largest in the
British Isles, attracting as it did over 7500 entries
from more than 50 different countries.
